Grandfather Mountain

Grandfather mountain is the most visited scenic somthing or ruther in NC. They are sure proud of it with a hefty admission charge. We met up with M & P, Paul G and Briana G, excited to have a day of fun. Next stop McDs (well we can look past this choice). Back to Grandfather mountain...
Family Portrait!!!!! (Try #3)

Suprisingly lots o' people milling about. Everyone is relatively happy at this point and the view is fantastic.

Only a handful of us are BRAVE enough to venture out onto the rocks. We are almost out of range of H and M shouting "be careful" and "hold his hand!" But someone eventually held my hand anyway.

Bryson loved taking pics with the point and shoot (reference dead batteries in last post) That nice skin color on the back of his neck is now replaced with a nice cinnamon color.

Hayden (AKA Mr. No-Nap) has had enough...back to safety.

we enjoyed the rest of the park seeing bears, cougars and other stuff at the nature center.. Jake duped Mamaw into no socks for the trip and is now paying the price with his shoe tongues getting messed up.


We are pooped but had a great day. back to Indiana soon.
