New Year Surprise

No, Heather is not pregnant! The new year went as well as could be expected although the crew arriving in the evening got a complimentary pass to the hotel celebration. They got to hang with the belly dancer and eat from the grand buffet. My crew ate Subway (and had to decipher Francais from the menu). Heather and the boys simulated new years at 8pm with friends of the family in Fairview. We did get unwelcome news...Indy had high winds that knocked down a large branch of our maple tree destroying the tree house. The tree house was supported bu 5 4x4s and not the branch in question but it stood no chance. I was proud of that tree house! (not to mention the cost of lumber) The rest of the tree must come down, stay tuned.
