Shocking!

Heidi's Post is much more eloquent than mine.

After the Colt's loss against San Diego, the local fans had submitted to the fact that the season was over for us, or so we thought. Almost as an after thought we found ourselves this weekend saying: "are we going anywhere for the Superbowl". As a matter of fact it had already been decided to go to the Pastor's house where all the kids could congregate in the basement and the adults could watch with minimal interruption.

I would have never though of myself as a Giants fan but we were all drawn into the hype of another Manning slaying the Dragon...My dad taught us the Cowboys were to be despised and they have been at the bottom of my list...until recently. Now it's anybody but the Pats, even Dallas. But I digress.

As the game wore on all our friends in attendance cheered for the Giants with as much enthusiasm as any Colts game this year. We had one dissenter, a youth who loved to play the part of the antagonist, drawing ire from the crowd. But even he eventually was showing smiles as the Giants drove for the winning touchdown. As the pass came to rest in Plaxico's hand the crowd erupted from the seats, elated. Wow. Its great to have a great group of friends to enjoy anything with...

BTW I am the Foosball Champion. Thank You.
