The Break

This weekend has been made as good as an experience as possible with caring friends from Indy, Charlotte, Asheville and even friends I haven't seen in over a decade making the trip to Asheville for the funeral. It was an amazing memorial service...very uplifting. After the emotional toll this week has taken on all of us, we needed a break. Eddie, a good friend of the family and my former youth pastor invited us out to his Madison County playground for some burgers and play time. "Mr. Gill" showed up later with the ATVs...They were like an industrial strength magnet for boys. We rode them ragged through the logging trails on the property up to the top of the mountain to view the sunset etc. What fun. Much appreciated fun. The boys will never forget today. Back to Indy tomorrow so see y'all soon.

The throttle loosened up eventually...

much needed down time...

much needed smores roasting...
